Silent Auction and Raffle
The show features a Silent Auction that allows show visitors to bid on items that have been donated by each of the show exhibitors as well as local businesses.
A Raffle is also held every year. Tickets can be purchased from Four Corners Builders Association members prior to the show and at the FCBA Booth during the show. The raffle winners are chosen one hour before the closing of the final day of the show.
The Proceeds from both the Silent Auction and Raffle are used to fund two annually awarded $500.00 college scholarships, donations to local non-profit organizations, and to help fund community projects with labor and materials provided by the members of the Four Corners Builders Association. Best of Show Awards
Two awards are given annually in the Best of Show category.
In addition to an award that can be displayed at their business location, the 1st Place Best of Show award also includes $365.00 towards a booth in the following years show.
The 2nd Place Best of Show also receives an award that can be displayed at their business location.
Contests
The Four Corners Builders Association is once again sponsoring a Pet House Contest at 2013 Four Corners Home & Garden Show.
The contest is open for everyone. Community members are invited to build their own pet house.
The pet houses will be displayed at the Four Corners Home & Garden Show and judged by show visitors. They will also be available for bid in a Silent Auction.
Cash prizes amounting to 50% of the winning bid will be awarded to each of the builders of the pet houses, and the remainder of the proceeds will be donated to the Dolores Industrial Arts Club.
Previous years have seen pet house contests, nail-driving contests, in-booth drawings, and much, much more.
